Gurupournima

Kolhatkar Pratishthana celebrates gurupournima, every year as a token of respect and gratitude towards all the mentors, who guide us through every aspect of our lives and stand by us through every thick and thin. This is one of the oldest initiative started by the pratishthana and is celebrated since the pratishthana was established without any disruption.

The main motive behind this initiative was to bring all the vaidyas and students together so that the students seek blessings and exchange thoughts with their respected gurus. Lectures by eminent speakers are arranged for students according to their expertise. This is a unique way of honoring the gurus and an attempt by the student to explicit his thoughts as acquired from his guru. Which in turn ascertains the way of guidance and motivation for students.
