VVMVK Ayurveda Pratishthana

Vidyarthimitra Vaidya M. V. Kolhatkar Ayurveda Pratishthana was established in 1993 by the students of Guruvarya Vd. M. V. Kolhatkar Sir.

Kolhatkar sir was a great visionary in the field of Ayurveda. He worked on many fronts to re-establish the importance of this traditional Indian system of medicine. Apart from being a great academician and a successful practitioner, he used to think continuously the ways to attain the acceptance of Ayurveda in the society. (Lokashraya and Rajashraya for Ayurveda.) He was of the opinion that good ayurvedic practitioners can be the very good preachers of Ayurveda. So he started grooming students of Ayurveda into good practitioners heaving sound knowledge of original texts of Ayurveda.
